We were so lucky to have author and illustrator, Miko Imai visit our classroom today. Miko read us three of her published books and she also shared with us how she came up with her ideas for her stories as well as some difficulties she had when she was going through the writing process. We could definitely relate to some of her frustrations! Lastly, Miko showed us step by step how to draw one of her favorite characters, Little Lumpty. We watched and did our best to draw our own versions of Little Lumpty.
