It’s hard to believe that we are already half way through January, especially with the spring like weather we were having at the beginning of the week! Where does the time go?
Abraham proudly shared his poster with his friends at the beginning of the week and he choose a fan favorite story to have his mom read to us this morning, Curious George!
Miko Imai Visits KB:
Author and illustrator, Miko Imai, visited our classroom this week and shared some of her books with the students. She read three of her very own books: Little Lumpy, Lilly’s Secret, and Sebastian’s Trumpet. She also talked about how she comes up with ideas for stories and that sometimes that is the hardest part about being an author. Many of the students could relate to that feeling! Miko also taught us step by step how to draw one of her favorite characters, Little Lumpty.
