This past week was International Dot Day. This day is based on the book, The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds.
In the words of Peter H. Reynolds:
For anyone who has been afraid to express themselves – from a child in art class to an adult whose fear has shut down a long-held dream, Peter H. Reynolds‘ book The Dot (Candlewick Press) is there to remind us all to “Make your mark, and see where it takes you.”

During our library class last week Mrs. Karam read this book with the class and together they created a “Dot Day Picture”. Each child had the opportunity to add their mark to the creation. Check it out!
