Throughout the last few weeks the students in KB have been becoming more familiar with the routines and expectations for reader’s workshop. Reader’s workshop is made up of literacy based centers that are designed to give students multiple opportunities to independently practice skills and strategies that are taught at the beginning of the week. We have been working hard to figure out how to transition from one center to another, how to take care of our center materials, and what to do when we are stuck and don’t know where to go or what to do.
